Pickled Asparagus
Asparagus is an extremely nutritious vegetable. It is a great source of fiber and protein, both necessary for good digestion and health. Asparagus is a heart healthy vegetable. Your heart loves them! It also contains antioxidants that protect your skin from the sun. These little guys are great! (Especially pickled!)

What you’ll need:
Asparagus, about 4-6 inches long
A tight lidded jar/can
Garlic, minced
Spices of your choice
Water

Steps:
1. Cut asparagus to desired size. Boil in hot water for about 6 minutes

2. Place asparagus and water in the jar, add seasonings
3. Close jar and shake until spices are well mixed.
4. Let sit for at least 3 days or until desired.
